Mass Jathara Movie Review: The Mass Maharaja Is Returning, And He Is All Prepared To Conquer The Tracks! Mass Jathara Is An Action Entertainer Which Launched On The Big Screen By A First-Time Director, Bhanu Bhogavarapu, Featuring Ravi Teja. The Movie Also Features Sreeleela And Has A Lot Of Hype Attached To It, But Does It Warrant The Buzz? Here’s Our Take.
Storyline
The Movie Is Set In A Dust-Ridden Town Of Adavivaram And Starring Railway Police Officer Lakshman Bheri (ravi Teja), The Film Sees Bheri Declare War On A Drug Kingpin Known As Shivudu (naveen Chandra). What Ensues Is A War Of Power, Passion, And Justice – A Mass-Loaded Conflict Between The Law And Anarchy.
What Works:
Ravi Teja Succeeds In Demonstrating Once Again Why He Is Referred To As The Mass Maharaja. His Electrical Intensity, Crisp Dialogue Delivery, And Fearless Attitude Towards A Cop Illuminate The Screen. His Police Officer Avatar In The Railroad Makes Him Feel Cool, And There Are Restrictions That Make It More Realistic. The Highlights Of The Movie Are The Action Sequences, Particularly The Pre-Interval Block And Forest Fights, Which Is Beautifully Captured By Vidhu Ayyanna. The Humor Employed By Rajendra Prasad Is A Relief, Whereas Sreeleela And Naveen Chandra Are Doing Justice To Their Parts.
What Doesn’t
Although Mass Jathara Delivers On Action, This Story Is Too Much Of A Cliche. The Drug-Mafia Motif Is Worn Out, And The Emotion Is Never Really Brought Down. There Is No Twist In The Screenplay, And The Second Part Of The Screenplay Lacks Pace. The Background Score By Bheems Ceciroleo Is Energising The Fight Scenes, But The Songs Are Not Memorable.
Technical Edge
The Movie Ranks Highly In Terms Of Visuals. The Railway Station And Festival Arrangements Appear Majestic. Director Bhanu Bhogavarapu Is Sparkling, But Acting In The Moderate Zone Of Commercial Cinema.
Final Verdict
Mass Jathara Is A Ravi Teja Film Through And Through -It Is Hot Blooded With Mass Action, But It Lacks Plot And Twist. A Good Single-Time Watch To Fans Who Need His Energy And Whistle-Worthy Situation.
